The Rehabilitation Institute of Florida is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation program, housed in a 10,000 sq. ft. facility adjacent to North Shore Medical Center FMC Campus’s main building.
For each individual patient, we work to restore healthy function. Our goal is developing our patients’ independence. The Institute specializes in the treatment of loss of function due to injury or illness. Our professional team works together to develop personalized treatment programs tailored to the specific needs of each patientt.
The team includes a variety of rehabilitation professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists,speech pathologists, respiratory therapists, biofeedback/psychotherapist and certified lymphedema therapist.

North Shore Medical Center FMC Campus is located just east of the Florida Turnpike on the south side of Oakland Park Boulevard. The Rehabilitation Institute of Florida is just east of the hospital in the medical office mall. Dedicated self-parking is available.
