Fort Lauderdale, FL – Florida Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer Bob Haley honored Florida Medical Center employees for their dedicated length of service to the hospital at the Annual Service Awards banquet on Feb. 20.
"At Florida Medical Center, quality is the cornerstone of everything we do and our staff is dedicated to provide exceptional care to every patient we serve," said Haley. "I salute all our staff for their dedication and commitment and we are grateful for their continued years of service."
Employees honored included those who have been with the company for 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and five years. Special recognition went to Ben Rodriguez, Florida Medical Center’s Chief Operating Officer and Robert Dzwonkowski, Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Florida Medical Center, who were both honored for 20 years of dedicated and loyal service.
All employees of the month for 2008 were also recognized at the event as well as Employee of the Year, Directors of the Year, Manager of the Year and Supervisor of the Year.
The award ceremony was part of a gala evening of dinner and dancing in the hospital’s auditorium which was transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland. The event highlighted the dedication and hard work that the honorees had displayed throughout their years at FMC.
